Dear Colleagues in Olympic Studies,
We are pleased to inform you that the 2025/2027 edition of the Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme has been launched.
For this edition, we are inviting the academic community to submit proposals related to at least one of the 12 IOC priority fields grouped in the following 6 main themes:
* AI and Sport
* Elite Youth Athletes
* E-sports and EGames
* Safe Sport: Athlete safeguarding and (mental) health
* Sport Coaches
* The Contribution of Sport and Olympism 365 to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Remember that this programme is aimed at university professors and researchers who have completed their doctorate, and who currently hold an academic/research appointment/affiliation. It is open to both individual and collective applications.

The French version of this new edition will be published in November. The deadline for submitting applications is 27 January 2025.
In the meantime, we shall be happy to provide you with any further information.
We hope that this new edition of the programme will be of interest to you and will continue to promote good opportunities for collaboration between the academic community and the IOC and kindly ask for your help in disseminating the programme worldwide via your networks, social media and contacts.
※ If any misrepresentation in the application documents is found,
we may take measures such as disqualifying the applicant from applying for various
research grants for a certain period of time.
In addition, the applicant will be required to return all or part of the research funds
received as a result of the misrepresentation.
